St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
St. Petersburg (Russia), June 6-8, 2008
A focal event in the country's economic life, the 11th forum in 2007 gathered some 5,000 representatives of international business, political, and expert communities who flew in from over 50 countries to discuss and showcase their investment opportunities. Ten CIS presidents, eleven government heads, four deputy prime minister, 64 ministers, and some 500 top managers of the largest international companies honored the forum with their presence. The forum's expo covered some 20,000 square meters.

Shanghai Cooperation Organization
Yekaterinburg , summer 2009
The official decision to hold the 2009 international Shanghai Cooperation Organization leaders council in Russia was made during the Bishkek summit in August 2007. The 2009 SCO summit in Yekaterinburg surrounds the Russian Federation’s chair in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization which will last from summer 2008 to autumn 2009. Yekaterinburg is a contemporary business, trade and industrial city.

MIPIM

The largest expo in the commercial real estate segment, MIPIM is an annual investment fair and exhibition held for 18 years running.
Year in and year out MIPIM is a key meeting place for commercial real estate market leaders. Every March it draws a crowd of international investors, municipal and regional authorities, legal experts, architects, designers, developers, hotel owners, and business managers seeking to attract investment.
Some 25% of the exhibition participants are potential buyers and investors. An estimated 95% of MIPIM participants represent the office real estate segment. The hotel and tourist industry is gaining an ever greater presence in the exhibition. The exhibition covers an area of nearly 25,000 square meters and draws more than 26,000 visitors from 83 countries.

Real Vienna Vienna (Austria), Messe Wien, May 27-29, 2008
The fourth largest commercial real estate exhibition, it is a showcase of Central and Eastern European real estate for professional visitors. It is a magnet for construction industry captains, financiers, developers, businesses operating and servicing real estate properties, tenants, and specialized mass media reps. The exhibition covers 16,000 square meters and features 248 exhibitors from 21 countries.

Expo Real Munich (Germany), New Munich Trade Fair Centre, October 6-8, 2008
The third largest commercial real estate exhibition, it is a gathering venue for all sorts of commercial real estate market players: representatives of economically thriving regions, developers, realtors, realty consultants, financial institutions, institutional investors, and venture funds. The exhibition spans an area of 63,000 square kilometers, drawing 23,800 visitors from 77 countries.

MAPIC Cannes (France), Palais des Festivals, November 19-21, 2008
With a track record of more than 12 years it is Europe's foremost exhibition of shopping real estate and retail networks.
MAPIC participants include shopping and entertainment centers, supermarkets, hypermarkets, franchises, construction, financial, and consultancy companies, as well as investors, developers, designers, and market analysts. The exhibition occupies 11,500 square meters. In 2007 it drew over 10,000 visitors from 71 countries.

This expo had existed only under the brand of DOMEXPO International until 2008 when DOMEXPO Russia spun off into an independent event held in the second week of April. All Russian companies have migrated to the new site leaving behind only international businesses that have operations in Russia.

Property Worldwide international expo and forum Moscow, Crocus Expo, April 24-27
The exhibition is divided into two sections: "Russian Real Estate" and "International Real Estate". In each section participants will showcase their residential and commercial real estate projects implemented all across Russia and the world to international and Russian investment funds, companies, and banks.
The exhibition covers 12,000 square meters. Each year some 250-300 companies display their projects drawing a crowd of 15,000 to 18,000 visitors.

Moscow Real Estate Forum Moscow, Expocenter, November 5-7, 2008
A peculiarity of this event is that the exhibition itself, titled Commercial Realty, is limited in time and space, with the forum coming to the fore as the primary event.
