Modernization of transport infrastructure of Kabardino-Balkaria. It is planned to implement the project in two stages:
— stage 1 provides construction of the runway as well as buildings and structures of the airport complex;
— stage 2 provides extension of the runway by 500 m, increase of airport terminal capacity up to 500 passengers per hour, ramp expansion, etc.
